new runner design

I RECEIVED THE NEW RING AND IT WAS STRANGE TO ME, USED TO THE CIRCULAR RINGS OF ALWAYS THIS IS DIFFERENT AND REQUESTS A 'LEARNING'. CURRENTLY I HAVE CHECKED THAT IT IS HEAVIER THAN ONE OF THE SAME SIZE OF THE CLASSICS. IT APPEARS TO BE GOOD FOR ICE CLIMBING, WHEN WEARING GLOVES THIS DESIGN WILL SIMPLIFY THE JOB. ANYWAYS, IT'S A BRAVE DESIGN.

Wet ICE

When in Wet/waterlogged blue ice in colde (-5 degrees celsius and below) temperature there is a problem with turning the screws going in and also, sometimes removing ice when taking them out. There might even be an issue with crown/aluminium binding on the light weight screws. Appart from that, Racks well and steel screws work great.
