Description

Abrasion and UV resistant alpine runners ideal for use as extendable quick draw and anchor slings. Available in 4 lengths.

Its single strand design greatly improves its carryability and ease of use in comparison to a close loop sling.

Carabiners are not included with Alpine Runners.

Great for alpine

These are great for alpine quick draws when you have time to untangle them every now and then and want something to inspire confidence. The extended quickdraw rests very nicely (the quickdraws don't flip around as much), the material is light and sturdy and abbresion resistant.

Negatives: In my experience, especially when climing with people who haven't used these specific runners, they are quite easy to tangle up and then you need patience, or two hands to address it. This is not a problem for most alpine routes but in my experience a no-no when in stressful situations or when climbing harder routes.
I prefer the mission lights for this alpine quickdraws for this reason.
