The Kume 30L, designed for ski touring, skimo and mountaineering, is a technical backpack, well-featured while remaining exceptionally light with a large side zip. It is lightweight, functional and robust with a volume suitable for daily missions. Its skiPro straps and suspension system are designed for winter conditions and make the load comfortable to carry.

The back panel includes a removable metal stay to give additional weight-savings. The design of the Kume allows for skis to be carried in an A Frame, side or diagonal setup on the terrain. Its key feature is the 'speed' option which allows skis to be attached or detached without taking your backpack off.

Equipped with a separate avalanche safety pocket, a helmet holder, an axe holder and a separate compartment for fast roping, this backpack will be an essential companion for the most technical outdoor excursion.

very good, but ...

I have used the Kume for 3 daily ski tours. It has many very good features, excellent wearability, and its versatility is excellent as well.
However, two shortcomings. I already have a (still very small) rip in the lower part (possibly due to the rampant) and the padded top part, which is too small as it doesn’t cover the stuff if the backpack is fully loaded.

Great backpack, but...

This is a great bag. Good quality, nice features that are in good use.
But definitely go for the bigger size from the 30l. Especially in wintery -colder- scenarios. Had issues in getting all the mandatory gear, coffee, snacks and clothing fit in for daily trip.
At first, I did not like the split between top/bottom part, but as used to it, it's actually working very well -user issue. Tee ski carry-on system works good. Slightly bigger pocket on the hip belt would be nice to squeeze additional snacks in. Even though this volume restrictions, recommend nevertheless.
Has been my go-to choice of bags for winter or summer travels in the wild.

Presque parfait

J'ai mis longtemps à apprécier ce sac tant il différait de mon précédent. Après presque 2 saisons, je l'ai apprivoisé et j'en suis bien content. Il est parfaitement pensé pour le ski-alpi. Seul bémol : il n'y a aucun renfort sur les latéraux du sac. A force de porter les skis (et au bout d'une seule saison), leurs carres ont déchirés les hauts et bas latéraux du sac que j'ai dû réparer avec des kits goretex (déchirures complèetes sur 3-4cm de chaque côté). J'aurais largement concédé à 50g ou + pour avoir des renforts aux endroits fragiles quand on porte les skis.

Super sac

Après avoir longuement hésité avec des sacs de marques concurantes mon choix c'est finalement porté sur le blue ice kum . Je ne regrette absolument pas , il est doté de pleins de petits accessoires qui facilite la vie en montagne ! Je recommande vraiment d'autant plus que côté héstétique il est vraiment chouette.
